Set Lock Screen Wallpaper. Under Background, select Picture or Slideshow to use your own picture (s) as the background for your lock screen. Go to the " Personalization → Lock screen " page.
Microsoft has purposefully built it this way as a security measure. In the top toolbar, select Go and. Rename the image as lockscreen.png by double clicking its name at the top of the Preview window.
Click on the "Set Wallpaper" option at the top right of the screen.
To do this, enable the Override lock screen image option in the General tab of the Wallpaper Engine settings.
By default, the Background should be set to be a Picture. Click the menu, and you'll see three options. Once successful, restart your computer and you should see both the lock screen and desktop background change.
